So, obviously, I have severely neglected this poor page.  Things get so busy that I either don't have time, or just never "get around to it" when everything else is done.  PLEASE like/follow (depending on the social media) Ice's pages!!  Those are utilized by more people than this page is, so they are kept WAY more up to date!!  All current gigs/events/etc are on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!!

That's how the last month of the year is ending!  It's definitely a busy one!!  The new website will be coming SOON!  That will be regularly updated (we promise), and you'll be able to see content from all of Ice's media sites in one place!  Here (below) is a screen shot of the website (work in progress)!

2013 - A Great Summer!

It's been way too long since our last site update.  But things have been CRAZY this summer! Between all the gigs, the radio show, and preparing to launch a totally redesigned version of this site, Heather and I have definitely had our hands full the last couple of months! 

Under 21 parties

My good friend Shawn "SIC" Collins (One 603 Entertainment) has been killing it all summer long with his "Giant Under 21" summer series at Club ManchVegas in Manchester, NH every Sunday. I got the call to spin three of these events. Capacity crowd every single time! Here are some pics of the parties (courtesy of Jonathan Gregg Photography):

Radio Show

Thing have also been good for the "Overdrive" mix show on 105.5JYY! We've been expanded from one night to two, and are now on every Friday and Saturday night at midnight. I've also enlisted the services of my man Danny Dee to help out with hosting the show every week. This has been going better than expected - Danny really helps to get the word out on entertainment news and events happening in the 603!

Social 24 & Other Residencies

Speaking of Danny Dee (since he's also head of promotions at Social 24 Nightclub in Manchester), Tuesday nights  at Social 24 have been crazy all summer! I've been putting it down with my man DJ Gera every Tuesday, and the crowd always has a great time! The team at Social has been great about welcoming me into the fold, and I appreciate it!

I've also been back in the studio a lot more this summer, working on remixes and studio edits. I've got some new stuff by Chris Brown, David Guetta, Nayer, Pitbull, and more finished up recently. You can check these out on the "Remixes" page, they're ready for streaming now!

A day in the life......

Yep, that's me.  Snoopy's slacking cousin!  ;)

Okay, okay.  I know.  I'm a slacker, so sue me.  As much as I say I don't have time to update the site regularly (or even somewhat regularly), Ice DEFINITELY doesn't.  He's CRAZY BUSY.  I swear, he squeezes 26 hours out of  a 24 hour day.

 A typical day for Ice (that starts at 6:30am): coffee, answer emails/texts, work on producing Overdrive (his show on 105.5 JYY), find/download new music, work on the next mixtape, make copies of current mixtape to hand out for upcoming weekend, more coffee, more emails/texts, business meetings, phone/conference calls, graphic design, promotional work (see pic below), and more coffee.  Throw in some other things that I'm not dumb enough to tip our hand on (sorry, just wait and see like everyone else), listen to music that Independent/Local artists send him, and that is a TYPICAL work day (this doesn't include his fam/friend/personal time).  Eats lunch generally sometime around 2-3 pm....(after I've put a plate in front of him at the computer).  Some days he has several business meetings, occasionally he has none.  Added into all the work he has to do for HIMSELF, are all the things he does for "friends" that ask favors of him.  His day breaks around 6-7:30 pm....(when I have dinner done and I make him shut off his phone).  After I've gone to bed for the night, his phone is back on and he's answering any outstanding emails/texts, touching up any graphic design work, etc.  He finally "calls it a day" around 12am - 1am.  **On Thurs/Fri/Sat nights, add in DJing from 9pm - 1am!!

So, as you can see, he doesn't exactly have tons of extra time to sit and update the site regularly, which falls on me.  I have more time than him, but I just get distracted and/or forget.  ANYWAYS.  Enough excuses, right?

Happy New Year! And, updates...

First off, Happy New Year!!!  I hope you all had a happy, healthy, safe, FUN New Years Eve!!!  I also hope that 2013 will be good to all of you who are reading this!  Click here to see pics from the NYE Black & Silver Bash at CYL @ Night!

Now...obviously it has been a couple months since the last post.  Why?  Well, to say the least, the past couple months have been INSANELY busy.  Of course there were all the holidays and craziness that come with those, but Ice has been hard at work on getting more club gigs (we've got one in the works, so check back soon for an announcement) and......A RADIO SHOW!  Ice is now on 105.5 JYY every Saturday night from 12 midnite - 2am.  Perfect for those who are on their way home from the clubs, or those of you who stay in but are up late!  Tune in if you're local, if you're not, you can listen live via the JYY website. Right Now:

Ice's schedule is every Friday night at CYL @ Night, every Saturday at Baja Beach Club, also every Saturday night on JYY.  Ice will be doing a guest spot on Jan. 11th at a charity event that benefits families of Sandy Hook!  I will do a separate post dedicated to that event with more details.  In the meantime, here is a link to the event page on Facebook.

Going forward: 

I'm going to TRY and post every week, if not every couple weeks.  More or less depending on what updates there are.  In case I get behind {again}, just pop over to Ice's Facebook or Twitter page, as he is fairly active on those daily so you can get updates in "real time".  You can also friend request him on Facebook, (for those who wanted to be "friends" in addition to "liking" his fan page).

Coyote Ugly

So, seeing how it is Thursday, I guess I'm a tad bit late posting pics from the Coyote Ugly night at Baja (this past Saturday)!  The event went REALLY well.  We even had a special surprise guest.....Emilee, from The Real World: Cancun!!!  A big thanks to her for judging the Coyote Ugly contest, and thanks to all who came out!

Updates!

Slacker?  Yep, that's me lately!  My bad!!  I've got a couple quick updates tho!!

The Balloon Drop at Baja?  That went really well; better than expected, actually!

The Halloween Bash at CYL was crazy!!  We had such a good turn out that we were slightly OVER capacity (no worries tho, a lot of ppl just gathered outside on the patio...you can still hear the music/drink/smoke out there)!!  Also outside on the patio was Truna (aka: the fire breather who popped in to do a quick fire show), and a badass ice luge which had "Happy Halloween" on the front and a spider on the top!!  Ice gave out some cash prizes for misc things ("First person to come to the DJ booth and dance "Gangnam Style" was one), and of course the BIG cash prize of $300 (which went to the Siamese twins)!!

Coming up:

I haven't made up a calendar with Ice's schedule for November because it is pretty much standard now:  Fridays at CYL, Saturdays at Baja.  Only other thing to add for November (so far): Ice will be at CYL on Wednesday, Nov. 21st for the Thanksgiving Eve Party!  

Please check Ice's Facebook page for event updates (we'll have at least one more event in Nov for CYL, and events pretty much every Sat at Baja)!  This coming Saturday at Baja: Coyote Ugly night!  Best Coyote Ugly bar dance wins a cash prize!  Drink specials all night, no cover, 18+!

Balloon Drop!

So, we have been wondering exactly WHAT to bring to Baja Beach Club.  A general weekly theme, different themes each week, what?  Well, this past Saturday, we brainstormed with K (one of the bartenders at Baja, and owner of Tasteless Candy Clothing Co.).  Starting this weekend, Saturdays will now be "Sinful Saturday"!  One theme, but different prizes/giveaways every week!!!!

This week, we'll be doing a balloon drop.....the balloons will contain a total of $300 in CASH prizes!  There will be $4 drink specials before 11pm, and "red light" drink specials throughout the night (so watch for the flashing red light and get to the bar)!!!!

Also, when you get to Baja, if you can show K that you have "Liked" the Tasteless Candy Facebook page, you'll get a raffle ticket to win a cash prize!!  So, spread the word and come out to win some cash, have some great drinks, and hear some awesome music!!!!!

Pink & Black Party

The Pink & Black Party (Friday's event for Breast Cancer Awareness) at CYL went really well!  With wristband sales and raffle ticket sales, we raised over $1300 for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer (American Cancer Society)!!!  Thanks to everyone who attended and to those who didn't attend, but still bought wristbands/donated!  We intend to make this a yearly event!!!!
