Happy New Year! And, updates...

First off, Happy New Year!!!  I hope you all had a happy, healthy, safe, FUN New Years Eve!!!  I also hope that 2013 will be good to all of you who are reading this!  Click here to see pics from the NYE Black & Silver Bash at CYL @ Night!

Now...obviously it has been a couple months since the last post.  Why?  Well, to say the least, the past couple months have been INSANELY busy.  Of course there were all the holidays and craziness that come with those, but Ice has been hard at work on getting more club gigs (we've got one in the works, so check back soon for an announcement) and......A RADIO SHOW!  Ice is now on 105.5 JYY every Saturday night from 12 midnite - 2am.  Perfect for those who are on their way home from the clubs, or those of you who stay in but are up late!  Tune in if you're local, if you're not, you can listen live via the JYY website. Right Now:

Ice's schedule is every Friday night at CYL @ Night, every Saturday at Baja Beach Club, also every Saturday night on JYY.  Ice will be doing a guest spot on Jan. 11th at a charity event that benefits families of Sandy Hook!  I will do a separate post dedicated to that event with more details.  In the meantime, here is a link to the event page on Facebook.

Going forward: 

I'm going to TRY and post every week, if not every couple weeks.  More or less depending on what updates there are.  In case I get behind {again}, just pop over to Ice's Facebook or Twitter page, as he is fairly active on those daily so you can get updates in "real time".  You can also friend request him on Facebook, (for those who wanted to be "friends" in addition to "liking" his fan page).

Updates!

Slacker?  Yep, that's me lately!  My bad!!  I've got a couple quick updates tho!!

The Balloon Drop at Baja?  That went really well; better than expected, actually!

The Halloween Bash at CYL was crazy!!  We had such a good turn out that we were slightly OVER capacity (no worries tho, a lot of ppl just gathered outside on the patio...you can still hear the music/drink/smoke out there)!!  Also outside on the patio was Truna (aka: the fire breather who popped in to do a quick fire show), and a badass ice luge which had "Happy Halloween" on the front and a spider on the top!!  Ice gave out some cash prizes for misc things ("First person to come to the DJ booth and dance "Gangnam Style" was one), and of course the BIG cash prize of $300 (which went to the Siamese twins)!!

Coming up:

I haven't made up a calendar with Ice's schedule for November because it is pretty much standard now:  Fridays at CYL, Saturdays at Baja.  Only other thing to add for November (so far): Ice will be at CYL on Wednesday, Nov. 21st for the Thanksgiving Eve Party!  

Please check Ice's Facebook page for event updates (we'll have at least one more event in Nov for CYL, and events pretty much every Sat at Baja)!  This coming Saturday at Baja: Coyote Ugly night!  Best Coyote Ugly bar dance wins a cash prize!  Drink specials all night, no cover, 18+!

(More) Updates!

Crazy-busy, but exciting week/weekend!!!  Last week Ice made a deal with Baja Beach Club in Laconia, NH to be their new Resident DJ on Saturday nights!!  After leaving The Funky Monkey last month, Ice is happy to be back up in the Lakes Region!

Friday night was the Beach Party at CYL At Night!!!

Saturday Ice spun the in-store event at Fashion Zone which was Ice's 1st corporate (non-nightclub) event, and it went very well!

Saturday night was Ice's 1st night at Baja, and we were ALL pretty psyched to pull up and see him on the outside board!!!

Sunday was the End of Summer Party for the kids at CYL At Night, which also went well even with a pretty big "technical difficulty" (Ice's amp wouldn't power up, so he couldn't' spin.  Luckily there was a jukebox w/tons of good songs that we were able to load up)!  The kids had a blast (we've already had lots of requests for another event), and we're hoping to do more of these events for them in the future (Ice got a new amp yesterday so he's all set for next time)!
